EcoAI - The device

EcoAI is a state of the art device that uses the TENS and EMS technology to battle pain. Using its exclusive smart wave technology it can help patients chose the best programs for their specific pain points through an easy to use app that is connected to the device in just one click. Essentially it helps block the perception of pain and reduce its frequency.

Why EcoAI?

EcoAI is an (FDA Cleared) electroceutical device that is easily connected to your phone via bluetooth. You place the (FDA) cleared gel pad on the body part where you feel pain and control the electric pulses from the app. EcoAI is backed by a powerful platform governed by artificial intelligence (AI) which records data of its users and provides the best solutions to each individual patient. The pre-set choice of programs are based on historical clinical data and evidence and uses the NXTSTIM patient database for therapy refinement.  Just like noise cancellation headphones, EcoAI uses AI powered SmartWave Technology to block the pain signal transmission from the peripheral nervous system to the central nervous system.  It also helps increase endogenous pain killing molecules in our body.

Using AI Software Dependent Neuromodulation EcoAI uses BIG DATA from all patients on our NXTSTIM Digital EcoSystem to personalize therapy programs for various pain conditions.  For example if there are 10,000 patients in the NXTSTIM EcoSystem using a select program for back pain, our smart device will provide you with that program preference. Each individual program will be tailored to your individual needs.  For a full understanding on how easy to use EcoAI WATCH VIDEO.

EcoAI has the power to record data during each usage in a closed loop fashion.  If you get NXSTIM prescribed to you from a NXTSTIM registered clinic, the clinic gains access to this data through a user-friendly dashboard dedicated to your progress. By facilitating this connection, you can stay in touch with your physician without the need for frequent in-person visits, making your healthcare journey more convenient and cost effective.  It also helps patients feel more connected to their physicians.

EcoAI is the first FDA approved commercial RPM (remote patient monitoring) device that uses AI/ML (artificial intelligence/machine learning) technology. EcoAI uses bluetooth to convert any phone into a remote control to deliver transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS).

EcoAI uses AI to create personalized neurostimulation programs that are tailored to each kind of pain.  AI Smartwave technology also provides various program options not available on traditional TENS units, including burst, continuous, and frequencies ranging to 1200Hz.  Based on historical clinical data inclusive of randomized clinical trials the programs on EcoAI are truly unique and proprietary.   Additionally, EcoAI provides continuous data and patient-reported feedback to your physician in a closed loop fashion, so they can track your progress and make adjustments to your treatment plan as needed. This makes EcoAI a novel and comprehensive pain management solution and truly one of a kind in the market.  EcoAI vs TENS unit

EcoAI – AiML TENS & EMS therapies are used to relieve both chronic (long-lasting) and acute (short-term) pain. Some of the most common conditions include:

  • Myofascial Low back pain
  • Myofascial Neck pain
  • Myofascial Joint pain (shoulder, hip, knee, etc)
  • Osteoarthritis (disease of the joints).
  • Fibromyalgia (aching and pain in muscles, tendons, and joints all over the body, especially along the spine.
  • Tendinitis (an inflammation or irritation of a tendon).
  • Bursitis (inflammation of the fluid-filled sacs that cushion joints).
  • Labor pain.
  • Chronic pelvic pain.
  • Diabetes-related neuropathy (damage to the nerves that connect the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body).
  • Peripheral artery disease (“hardening of the arteries” that circulate blood to the body).

When used for recovery, rehabilitation, muscle training, or pain relief, EMS and TENS devices are normally prescription-only and administered by professionals: for example, sports medicine physicians, physical therapists, or orthopedists. Some of the common uses of prescription EMS therapy include:

  • Relieving back spasms. Electric muscle stimulation can relax back muscles, easing tightness and soreness in the lower back area.
  • Working weakened or atrophied muscles. Broken bones, soft tissue injuries, spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular disorders, stroke, and certain forms of illness can inhibit movement and exercise, causing muscles to become weak from disuse.
  • Retraining muscles after surgery or illness. Occasionally, following orthopedic surgery or illness (such as a stroke), a patient may have difficulty contracting muscles at will. In such cases, EMS can be used for “muscle re-education.”
  • Aiding athletic recovery. EMS active recovery program settings use specific low-level frequencies to increase blood flow, remove lactic acid, release endorphins, and promote muscle relaxation.
